Women's Hormone Therapy
Reclaim Your Rhythm
Hormones are the conductors of your daily energy. When they fluctuate, it's more than an off day — it's a systemic shift that touches your sleep, your mood, your temperature, and your sense of being recognizably yourself.
Whether you're in the early irregularity of perimenopause, deep in the transition, or years past your last period and still not sleeping through the night, there's a plan for where you actually are.

What Hormones Do Well
Let's be straight about this.
For hot flashes and night sweats, hormone therapy is the most effective treatment available. Not one option among many — the most effective one. If that's what brought you here, we can help with real confidence.
Sleep often improves alongside it, because it's hard to sleep through night sweats.
Mood, energy, brain fog, and weight are more complicated. Many women feel meaningfully better. Some don't, because these symptoms have more than one cause, and hormones are only one of them. We'd rather tell you that now than let you find out at month three. If hormones aren't the whole answer for you, we'll say so and help you look at what else might be going on.
Do I Need Labs To Start?
For estrogen and progesterone, no.
Here's the reasoning, because it surprises people. Hormone levels swing dramatically during perimenopause — sometimes within a single cycle. A blood draw captures one moment in time, which is why current menopause care guidelines recommend treating based on symptoms and history rather than chasing lab numbers.
So we start with a conversation instead. What you're experiencing, what your cycles have been doing, your health history, what "feeling like yourself" would actually mean.
There are times testing tells us something real. If you're under 45, if your symptoms don't fit the usual pattern, or if we want to rule out overlapping issues like thyroid imbalance or iron deficiency — we'll say so. And if you'd simply like a baseline, we're glad to draw one. Good reasons to test, just not requirements to begin.
We draw in-office, so there's no separate trip across town. Pricing varies by panel, and we'll go through the options and costs together before drawing anything. Already have results from the last 12 months? Bring them — we may be able to use those.
Testosterone is different. Testosterone therapy does require lab work to start and to continue safely.
What Will I Be Prescribed?
Estradiol and progesterone, prescribed by a licensed clinician and shipped to your door.
Estradiol cream — applied to the skin daily. Absorbs steadily, easy to adjust, and nothing to remember to swallow.
Oral progesterone — taken at night. It protects your uterine lining, and many women find it helps them sleep.
Vaginal estradiol cream — a different tool for a different problem. If dryness, discomfort during sex, or recurring urinary symptoms are what's bothering you, this treats them directly, right where they happen. It can be used on its own or alongside systemic therapy.
Testosterone — injection or gel. It's the hormone that usually gets left out of the conversation for women, and it's the one most often behind libido that's gone quiet. Because testosterone is the hormone where the number genuinely matters, it's also the one that requires labs.
Which combination suits you depends on your symptoms, your history, and honestly your preferences. We'll talk it through before anything is ordered.

Most women with a uterus are prescribed both estradiol and progesterone — $278/month together.
Every price includes your medication shipped to your door and every consultation with me: the first one, the monthly ones, and the "is this normal?" ones in between.
One price whatever your dose. When your prescription changes, your cost doesn't.
Lab draws, when required or when you want them, are priced separately by panel.
HSA and FSA funds are accepted.
As Much Support As You Want, As Little As You Need.
Some clients want a conversation every month. Some want to be left alone until something comes up. Both are fine, and neither costs extra.
Every consultation is included in your monthly price — the first one, the monthly ones, and the "hey, is this normal?" ones in between. Message me before you change something. Call me when a side effect worries you. Or don't, and just let your medication arrive.
None of this requires you to come in. But my office is here in Edina if you'd rather sit down and talk it through.
Whichever program you're in, this is how it works.
Is This Right For Everyone?
No. Certain health histories make hormone therapy a poor choice, and a licensed clinician reviews yours before anything is prescribed. If you're not a good candidate, we'll tell you and help you think about what else might help.
Bring your history to the consultation — including anything you're not sure is relevant. That conversation is free, and it's the right place to find out.
